About the event
Two Gemstones in one trip! This is a moderate level difficulty rockhounding trip, (a 2.5 out of 5 for difficulty, most kids could do this one.) We will hike uphill for about an hour, dig around and then hike back down. Though we will look hard for these gemstones, finding them is not guaranteed so keep your eyes peeled as we go. Our location will be Mt. Baldy area in California, byt the exact coordinates of our meeting place will be sent out with the confirmation email in the form of GPS coordinates so all you have to do is copy and past them into google maps.
We will meet at these coordinates at 10am and then begin the hike. Also you will probably not get any cell reception out there.
What to bring: Water bottle, food or snacks if you would like (just please remember to take any trash…
