Two locations in one trip! Let's enjoy this weather collecting rocks at two of California's best beaches. We'll start in the Jade Cove area, rockhound for an hour, then drive south 45 minutes and continue the day at Moonstone Beach.

About the event
Two rockhounding beaches in one trip! This is an easy-to-moderate level difficulty rockhounding trip, (a 2 out of 5 for difficulty, there is a just a walk from the parking area that gets steep but not a big deal.) We'll meet at the parking area, hike down to the beach and spend about an hour searching the surf for jade. Then we'll get back in our cars and drive south 45 minutes to our second location, Moonstone Beach, where we will look for jaspers, agate, and if you are super lucky, moonstone.
Our meeting location will be Jade Cove area in California, but the exact coordinates of our meeting place will be sent out with the confirmation email in the form of GPS coordinates so all you have to do is copy and paste them into google maps.
