Middletown Jasper

Join me for a fun, easy day of collecting jaspers by the river! We'll find a huge variety of what northern California has to offer: jasper, chert, an agate or two and maybe even an elusive orbicular jasper! This is a beginner level rockhounding trip, (1 out of 5 difficulty) meant for people to have fun, make new friends, and foster community.

What to bring: Water bottle, food or snacks if you would like (just please remember to take any trash out with you). Sun protection, a collecting bag, a hammer or rock pick, a keen eye and a sense of adventure!

Although this is a free event there is a limited number of spots - please reserve a spot only if you plan to attend so others have the chance to join.
