Fantastic Rocks and Where to Find Them

One of the coolest places I know for rockhounding is a place called Clear Creek in the Diablo Range of California in Coalinga. Plasma agate is what you come here for, serpentine is all over, green garnet is there if you are lucky, and the big prize is Benitoite. This is one of the largest serpentine masses on the planet, making the geology incredibly unique, and the rocks and gemstones plentiful! Lets go.
